Before you choose
Billing, apps and storage: the details that make a difference.
Billing is when you pay. Commitment is how long you subscribe for. Monthly payments can therefore come with an annual commitment. The Microsoft annual plan is paid yearly; both Google plans are paid monthly with an annual commitment.
Microsoft 365 Business Basic includes web and mobile apps. Business Standard adds desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook for PC and Mac. Exchange Plan 1 is an email licence; it does not include the Office desktop suite.
Business Starter adds 30 GB per user and Business Standard 2 TB per user to a storage pool for your organisation. It is used for both email and files, rather than a separate allowance reserved for each mailbox.
